Mystery Surrounding Conversation At An Inverness Park
Police in Inverness are looking to trace a man in relation to incident reported to have occurred in Bellfield Park yesterday.
Police in Inverness are looking to trace a man in relation to incident reported to have occurred in Bellfield Park yesterday.
Police received a report that several young children who were playing in the park were approached at around 11.30am and spoken to by a man they didn't know. Officers would like to speak to the man in order to establish the circumstances of the contact.
The man is described as Asian, mid 50s to 60s, of average build and was wearing a blue cap and grey suit.
​Detective Sergeant Steven MacKenzie said: "It appears there was no attempt by the man to encourage the children to leave the park at any time but we would, nevertheless, like to speak to the man in order to satisfy ourselves that the contact was innocuous. We would like to hear from anyone who was in the park today and has any information.
"Similarly if think you might be the person in question, then we would be grateful if you could get in touch."
