A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the A96 in Keith.

The 69-year-old man died at the scene of the collision which happened around 7:45pm last night.

Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a collision involving a motorcycle on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness Road at Keith.

"A 69 year old male died at the scene and next of kin have been informed.

"Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage, to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3301."
