County aim to contain free-scoring 'Well from continuing fine form
It's three wins from three in recent weeks for Ross County's opponents
Ross County made a return to winning ways with last weekend's last gasp victory over St Mirren, thanks to a late goal from skipper Marcus Fraser, and now it's the challenge of taking on Premiership form side Motherwell.
Last time the sides met it was on Scottish Cup duty when 'Well, still in the process of being moulded by Stephen Robinson, ended up being dumped out 2-1.
The scorer of both County goals back in January was Brian Graham, with the big forward eager to help the Staggies back on the straight-and-narrow after recent results.
'Over the course of the season there's going to be some setbacks, but it's how you deal with those, and I think Saturday we showed how we're more capable of getting a result (against St Mirren)'
'We're in the Premiership after all and there's a lot of good teams here - we're not going to win every game - but having lost a couple we're not likely to dwell on it'
'People get far too carried away early on in the season. If one of the bottom six racks up a run of results it can pull them right back up again, so with all clubs it's still very much to play for'
Brian's netted two for the season so far and came on for Billy McKay last weekend, but it was Ross Stewart who opened for County in the victory over the Buddies.'
'Ross has done extremely well, he's a lovely big lad having done well to progress career so far in such a short space of time. I'm sure if he keeps going the way he's going, he can develop further here'
Neither Brian nor any of the rest of the squad are under any illusions about the challenge facing them at Motherwell, following their hosts hat-trick of wins in response to their league defeat to Celtic.
Since the 5-2 loss to the Hoops, 'Well have won against Hamilton, Hibs and Hearts, scoring three goals in every match.
'They're going really well, they've bags of pace in the wide areas, we know they're going to be a threat. Motherwell are playing with no fear, but likewise spirits are up with us, following our win over St Mirren'
The County management team say that Lee Erwin and Lewis Spence are back in full training, with Don Cowie, Callum Morris and Ross Draper partially involved as they work their way back.
