Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller has earned his first senior Scotland call-up.

The 18-year-old has impressed in the middle of the park for Motherwell this season and has caught the eye of national team boss Steve Clarke.

Miller has previously represented Scotland at youth level up to the under-21 squad.

Fellow 18-year-old James Wilson has also been selected for the first time.

The Hearts striker has scored six times for the Tynecastle side this season.

Wilson has previously represented Scotland under-19's.

Lewis Ferguson and Kieran Tierney have returned to the squad following long-term layoffs.

Bologna midfielder Ferguson is now back fully fit and has represented his side in the Champions League.

Tierney has recently returned to the Arsenal team after injuring his hamstring at Euro 2024 last summer.

Uncapped right-back Max Johnston has also been included, whilst Kevin Nisbet has earned a recall for his performances with Aberdeen.

Ipswich Town strike George Hirst has not been included, despite rumours that the Scottish FA were hoping to make the Sheffield-born forward to switch allegiances from England.

Angus Gunn, who has been Steve Clarke's number one for over a year, has not been selected.
