Man & Woman Injured After Inverness Assault
Police are appealing for information about the attack on Culduthel Road early on Sunday morning.
A man has been seriously injured in an attack in Inverness at the weekend.
A woman was also hurt in the assault on Culduthel Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police are hunting for 3 people - 2 men and a woman - in connection with the incident.
"This would appear to be an unprovoked assault which occurred about 00:30 hours, opposite the Backpackers Hostels on Culduthel Road during which the man sustained a serious injury and the female sustained minor injuries. "The three persons responsible are described as: Male with grey hair and beard, wearing a dark jacket; Male with dark hair and a small beard, wearing a dark hoodie; Female with shoulder length dark hair, wearing a dark jacket. "All three appeared to be in their late 20’s, early 30’s."
