Man's death in Inverness being treated as 'unexplained'

A 64-year-old man's death in Inverness is being treated as "unexplained."

Emergency services were called out to Druid Road in the Hilton area this morning just after 5am, after receiving a report a man was found unresponsive.

He was taken to Raigmore Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Police Scotland say enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “Around 5.05am on Saturday, 14 December, 2024, we received a report of a 64-year-old man found unresponsive on Druid Road, Inverness.

“Emergency services attended and he was taken to Raigmore Hospital where he died a short time later.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
