Man charged with murder following woman's death in the Highlands

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 66-year-old woman in Culnakirk, near Drumnadrochit.
Neil Carmichael, from Inverness, made no plea at Inverness Sheriff Court today and was committed for further examination.
The 33-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court on January 6th.
