Man charged after spate of crimes in Highlands
A 43 year old man has been linked to 39 crimes across 31 areas in the Highlands.
In Summer 2017, there were reports of numerous thefts, including housebreakings, theft of vehicles and vandalism to properties across Ross Shire and Sutherland.
Detective Inspector Scott Macdonald said: "This was a complex investigation due to the geography covered and the volume of incidents which have ultimately made up this report.
'We are grateful to the many members of the public who have provided information which has been of assistance during our enquiries.
'Acquisitive crime and crimes of dishonesty are a priority for Police Scotland and I would encourage anyone who thinks they may have been a victim of crime or is concerned about suspicious behaviour to report this to us at the time.'
The man from County Durham has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for crimes of dishonesty.
