Man Assaulted And Robbed In Inverness

Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked and robbed in Inverness last night.

It's understood the victim was on Layton Drive when he was assaulted by two men - who then stole his bag.

The incident happened around 8.20pm close to the Mackay Road flats in the Hilton area of the city.

The males involvwed are described as wearing dark coloured hooded tops, one was wearing illuminous yellow trainers and the other had an eastern euorpoean accent.
