Man Assaulted @ Popular Inverness Nightspot

A man suffered serious face injuries in an assault in a popular Inverness nightspot.

The 25 year old was attacked by another man in the upper bar area of Hootananny, Church Street about 2:30am on Sunday.

Police are hunting a suspect in his mid 20's/early 30's.

He's described as 6 foot tall, with dark hair, wearing a dark Ralph Lauren t-shirt, jeans and black shoes.

Officers are asking anyone who saw the incident to contact them on 101.
