Man Assaulted In Muir Of Ord

Police in Ross-shire are appealing for information following reports of an assault in Muir of Ord at the weekend.

The incident happened on Saturday just after 10pm at the underpass at the railway bridge by Fairmuir road, a young man was reportedly approached by two unknown men in their twenties and assaulted by one, sustaining minor facial injuries as a result.

The man is described as being over 6 ft in height, of medium build, with heavy stubble and wearing a grey hooded top.

The other man was around 5 ft 10 and also wearing a grey top.
