Man arrested over theft of cars from Elgin worth more than £60k

He's due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today

A man has been charged in connection with the alleged theft of cars worth over £60,000 from Moray.

Three cars were said to have been taken two weeks ago today from the Hawco garage in Elgin.

A Police Scotland statement said: " A 25 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with theft by housebreaking.

"He is due before Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, 28 January, 2021.

"Police enquiries are continuing.

"A full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
