Man Arrested Over Alleged Rape

A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a young woman last month.

The 19-year-old was attacked in The Meadows in Edinburgh on Saturday November 15 as she returned from a night out.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the incident, Police Scotland confirmed.

He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
