Man arrested after digger crashes through shop in Keith

A man has been arrested after a digger was found crashed into the front of a Spar.
Police said there was significant damage to the shop on Regent Street in Keith, in Moray, while the road was closed due to debris.
The incident happened at around 3.35am on Saturday.
Police said that a 35-year-old man has been arrested.
Diversions were put in place via Newmill to the north and Drummuir to the south while the road was closed.
Police are investigating the incident and asked anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting reference 612 of January 19.
