Man arrested after A9 crash between car and lorry near Aviemore

A man has been arrested in connection with a crash which left another man needing hospital treatment.

The road at the junction of the A9 and A95 at Lynwilg was closed for around four hours following the two vehicle collision yesterday afternoon.

Officers say enquires into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a lorry on the A9 near Aviemore shortly after 4.30pm on Monday, 9 January.

"One man has been taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

"One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
