Man airlifted to hospital following A9 collision

A man is in a critical condition in hospital following a crash on the A9 near Aviemore.

The 60-year-old driver and sole occupant of the Blue Skoda involved was seriously injured.
He was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
A 17-year-old driver and sole occupant of the white Toyota pick up involved was taken to Raigmore, medical staff describe his condition as stable.
The road re-opened around 9:30pm.
Police Scotland are urging anyone who may have seen the incident to get in touch.
Sergeant Calum Macaulay, Roads Policing Unit, Dingwall, said: "I am keen to hear from anyone, not yet spoke to by police, who was on the road and either witnessed the crash or who has dash-cam footage of the incident.
