Machinery theft in Deskford area

Police appeal for information following theft

Police Scotland is appealing for information following the theft of plant machinery from the Deskford area in Moray.

The theft occurred overnight between 3.30pm on Saturday the 23rd of July and 7.30am on Wednesday the 27th of July in the Crannoch area of Deskford.

A large power generator, industrial pressure washer, tripod with winch and a 3 metre scaffolding tower were stolen from a secure site.

The items stolen are estimated to be valued at a mid-four figure sum of money.

Local investigating officer, PC David Baird said:

"We are urging anyone with information regarding this theft to come forward. I would also appeal to anyone who has been offered industrial plant equipment, and who thinks it may be related to this theft, to contact Police Scotland."
