County defender Erik Cikos hopes after difficult start that they can keep the points ticking over

After a 3-2 victory in the Highland Derby, defender Erik Cikos says Ross County can't dwell too long on their success over rivals Inverness, as the Staggies look to pick up momentum in the Premiership campaign.

"It was a very important match for us and I'm sure it will inspire us to improve ourselves and keep working hard for these next games - Kilmarnock and Hamilton - and hopefully get six points"

"After that we have a difficult series of games, so this time is important, especially after we started with a defeat (against Dundee) we've needed to work at getting the confidence back"

"Sometimes you need just a small change, a new impulse, and I feel scoring first was a big lift against Inverness"

"We started well, pressing high, creating chances, and we got back our confidence. Tactically and mentally we prepared well for the match. After a tough pre-season it was almost like being back to the peak of our powers"

This week it's Kilmarnock at the GES and Cikos hopes County line-up along similar lines as last week in Inverness:-
