The crisis text-line set up following the deaths of two young friends in Inverness is getting ready to expand its services.
'Mikeysline' was launched last December in a bid to help young people suffering with depression or thinking of taking their own life.
The bodies of Martin Shaw and Michael Williamson, both 23, were found at separate addresses in the Highland capital last October, just days apart.
Police say their deaths were not suspicious.
Michael’s uncle, Ron Williamson, is one of the people who helped launch the service.
Since going live the text-line has seen a rise in the number of people getting in touch and the team of ten volunteers are now trying to expand its services, as Ron explains:
The text line runs from 7pm to 7am from Friday to Monday.
