LISTEN: Runner Rescued From Cairngorms
The 25 year old was rescued last night after being out in the cold for 5 hours in shorts and a vest.
Rescuers say a runner who went missing in the Caringorms for 5 hours would not have survived the night.
The 25 year old was found in shorts and a vest on the Lairg Ghru range around 10:20pm last night.
The man had been seperated from a running party earlier that day.
He began running in the wrong direction and got into difficulty as daylight faded.
Members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue team, police and RAF were all involved in the search.
