LISTEN: Power Back On In The North
The power is back on in the North.
Power has been restored to almost all properties across the north after last week's storms.
SSE says it's now operating as normal after reconnecting thousands of homes across the region.
Yesterday, over 900 properties in the north of Scotland were still cut off after the high winds, heavy rain and snow.
The worst affected area was rural Dingwall, where 320 homes were still without power until late last night.
At its peak more than 120,000 home experienced a blackout last week and over the weekend.
Mountain Rescue teams helped distribute around 400 litres of soup overnight, while generators, hot food and drinks were being supplied to those in need.
Some properties in Brora and Nairn are among those still in darkness.
