LISTEN: No one hiding as County bid to come out fighting
Skipper Paul Quinn believes County's bad run will turn as they enter an important phase of the Premiership season.
It's now six games without a win for Ross County, and although there have been decent signs in many of those matches that the Staggies could have enjoyed success - on too many occasions they have been unable to deliver the points performances have merited.
County's barren spell stretches back to 27th of August (0-1 at Hamilton) and there have been three draws, three defeats. Speaking to MFR News earlier this week, County captain Paul Quinn was keen to point out the brighter points within that run.
"The goal-less draws away from home (at Ibrox and Tynecastle) are arguably good points and hard-earned clean-sheets against difficult opponents"
"There was a spell against St Johnstone where we played well and had them under pressure and got hit by the sucker-punch with the second goal"
"We're performing well in games to a high level but we're getting punished with mistakes, and we have to eradicate them and get back to picking points up"
"As a whole we've performed well, a hundred percent is the bare minimum, and in some games we've showed real quality but at times we've shown a lack of concentration"
"We've just been lacking a bit in those games, where there's been the lapses, and we've been maybe too keen to try and impress"
"We just need to bang our heads together and help each other out - there's no negativity - the results will come"
The County captain says the players are ready to respond to their recent run of results and tackle Partick, silencing their critics:-
