LISTEN: Man Hospitalised In Inverness 'Explosion'

A man has been taken to hospital after a suspected gas explosion at his home.

Fire crews were called to a property in Abban Street, Inverness, at about 8.40am.

Police said a man was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

His condition is not known.

A statement said: Reports suggest that a minor gas explosion had occurred within the property.

A joint police and fire investigation will be conducted into the matter.''

Lochalsh Road was closed as crews attended the scene and has since reopened.
