It’s emerged Lachlan Simpson laughed on the phone with friends the night he went missing in Dornoch.
The 22 year old disappeared on his way home from a marquee dance in the town, nearly 3 weeks ago.
Conor Cheyne, who’s a close friend of Lachlan, says he had laughed about falling into a small burn on the phone the night he vanished.

Today police continue to search the area with sniffer dogs.
