LISTEN: King takes confidence from Celtic's sole slip-up

ICT's Billy King hopes having held the Hoops they can go one better to win through in their Scottish Cup tie at Celtic Park.

On the week which marks 17 year since Caley Thistle's most famous victory, Inverness head to Celtic Park once again on Scottish Cup duty.

Earlier this season in September ICT held the Hoops to a 2-2 draw in the Highlands - the only blemish to Celtic's record in the Premiership this season. Despite the challenge of playing the runaway leaders in the Scottish Cup, ICT winger Billy King says it's a tie to relish:

"To play at Celtic Park, it's a massive stadium and a massive fixture for us - one which could possibly kick-start some form - so we go into the game with confidence, there's nothing to lose and we'll hope to take something from the game"

King netted in the draw earlier in the season and says, far from being relegation candidates, Inverness looked a match for Celtic in that encounter:

"The second half we got battered a bit, so they must've woken up after the break, but that first half we played really well. Even down there were held it 0-0 at half time, so those two games we can take going into this match. It's my only goal so far in the league and both those games show it's there to play for"

But how to stop the Hoops? Especially after St Johnstone ended up on the wrong side of a 5-2 scoreline having led at the break:

"We've been working on our shape this week, we've been playing 3-5-2, and we'll be working on how to set about stopping Celtic playing their game"

Inverness still find themselves adrift at the foot of the Premiership, but King believes they can take heart from last weeks 2-2 comeback against Dundee.

"We played really well at the weekend considering we went 2-0 down, they had two chances and took their two, it was a big second half from us where we could've crumbled and we fought back to earn the point - perhaps we were unlucky not to take all three"
