Shoppers in Inverness got a taste of what to expect for this year's Highland Military Tattoo.

Some of the key performers in the historical vignettes paraded around Falcon Square this morning.

The crowds were treated to a showing by Andalusian stallion Drino and stunt rider Kirsty McWilliam.

The September event will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
