Manager Richie Foran is confident Caley Thistle will start their push towards Premiership survival before it is too late.

ICT sit bottom of the table, three points behind Hamilton with seven games remaining.

Foran's side have not won in five games, but ahead of Saturday's visit of fourth-placed St Johnstone, followed by a trip to fellow strugglers Motherwell, Foran said: "It's coming. You need a wee break in front of goal."

"If we go 2-0 up, we'll punish teams. The lads are keeping me confident with what I'm seeing in training every day."

"We've got five strikers, so there's tons of goals in us."

"I believe we're going to get these wins"

"We've got some great attacking midfielders and experience at the back, so it's going to click. But it needs to click on Saturday."

Speaking to MFR News, Richie Foran praised the improvement of Liam Polworth in recent times for providing ICT's drive from midfield:-

Inverness lost 1-0 to second-place Aberdeen on Tuesday night while Hamilton and Motherwell fought out a goalless draw the following evening.

The Fir Park side remain one point ahead of Accies. Asked if it was a relegation scrap between his side and the two Lanarkshire clubs, Foran said: "We can only look up; other teams will be looking over their shoulders and worrying."

"I believe we're going to get these wins. We'll focus on ourselves and St Johnstone coming here."

"It was a tough defeat to take at Aberdeen. I thought they were off it a bit and didn't take advantage of it. It was a good performance but a disappointing result."

"We want to get in a very good place going into the split."

"We've beaten St Johnstone at home and Motherwell away so we'll take confidence into these games. We need at least four points from them."
