A dove who became trapped in a lantern in Dingwall has been reunited with its mate.
The distressed bird was discovered inside the light at the front door of a property.
It only suffered minor injuries, which were treated with antibacterial spray.
The rescue team at Inverness nursed it back to health, before realising it back to its nest.
