It's lights camera, action for the North of Scotland - once again today - as some famous landmarks pop up in yet another movie.

This time it's Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Roald Dahl's the BFG that hits cinemas across the country today, with the Quirang in Skye and Orkney's Old Man of Hoy both expected to feature in the film.

And Tom Maxwell from Visit Scotland says the North's got a proven track record of providing a good back drop on film sets:

The film - based on Roald Dahl's book - is released in cinemas today and has a strong British cast including Mark Rylance and Timothy Spall.
