LISTEN: Belladrum Festival Goes Online

Revellers will be able to access internet for the first time at this year’s Belladrum Festival thanks to the launch of a new Wi-Fi village.

The Tartan Heart Festival is working with the Co-op to provide festival-goers with the ability to share snapshots of their fun at the festival instantly.

The Wi-Fi Hotspot is being powered experts Vroove systems, from the Isle of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides, who provide Wi-Fi and Internet for hotels and events across the Highlands and Islands, the service is expected to run smoothly.

Joe Gibbs, the festival founder said: “You won’t find me on snapchat, but it’s brilliant that the Co-op will be bringing this extra element to the festival this summer. Connectivity in the Highlands is paramount for tourism and industry, to make sure that we remain relevant in the context of the globally connected world.”

Advance vouchers are available online from at a discounted cost of £5 for 1 day, £9 for 2 days and £13 for Weekender.

On-site, vouchers will be £6, £10 and £13 respectively, available at the Voove stand in the Co-op village.
