Purse thief jailed after British Army chase helps catch the crook
A purse-snatcher's had a fright after being chased by Army soldiers through the streets of Inverness.
Sergeant Brian Taylor (pictured left) and his men from The Highlanders, 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS) spotted the crook running from the RBS branch on the High Street, with people shouting after him.
The military lads sprang into action, working with security guards from Inverness BID to corner the thief yesterday.
He's 32-year-old Andrew Ryan who's been sent to prison for five-months.
