A drama is aiming to teach Moray students about the dangers of 'sexting'.

The play - named 'Take It Off' - is to tour local secondary schools from next week.

It explores the impact of sending indecent pictures on young people.

Parents will also get the chance to see special performances to learn about issues which could be affecting their children.

The play was commissioned by Moray child protection practice reference group and will be performed by the Out Of The Darkness theatre group.

MFR Reporter Derek Ferguson speaks with Fiona Heard, community worker with Moray Council, about the play...

Community learning and development worker Fiona Herd said: "A lot of parents don't know what to do in these situations.

"Their becoming concerned they don't know how to advise their children, and the technology is there, as young people know more than we do.

"It can happen very easily for kids to be drawn into this.

"We want to make them aware if there are seeing something and they know what it can lead to, then they might think again."
