Police officers kitted out with riot gear forced their way into homes in Ross-shire today, as part of a series of drugs busts.

The police had warrants to hit locations in Dingwall where 'quantities of Class B and C drugs' were recovered, according to Police Scotland.

On social media the constabulary posted a Tweet claiming 'Further enquiries ongoing.'

A report will be sent to Procurator Fiscal on the outcome of today's police operation.
