King Charles gets Scottish crown jewels in lavish service
The ceremony at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh was followed by a 21-gun salute from Edinburgh castle.
King Charles III has been presented with the Scottish crown jewels in Edinburgh as the country marks the Coronation.
Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales joined him at St Giles Cathedral.
Our reporter Alice Faulkner has been speaking to people in the city who watched proceedings.
The First Minister Humza Yousaf gave a reading during the service and there was music from violinist Nicola Benedetti.
These people who came to watch the procession said: "I love Edinburgh, I come quite regularly and I am also a keen royalist."
Another said: "Seeing the crowds and soaking up the atmosphere is great.
"It's fantastic seeing the bagpipes too."
However, not everyone was so happy to see the King and the rest of the Royal family in Scotland.
Two women have been arrested after allegedly trying to climb over a crowd safety barrier on the Royal Mile.
In a Twitter post, Police Scotland said a 20 year-old woman and a 21 year-old woman were arrested in connection with breach of the peace.
Earlier, Scottish Greens co-leader Patrick Harvie attended an anti-monarchy rally after turning down an invite to the service.
He acknowledged there was still public support for the monarchy but said pro-republic campaigners should make the argument for "smaller issues".
