Kellacher lands first monthly award as Caley Thistle manager

The ICT boss is acknowledged for the unbeaten record in November

Caley Thistle manager Scott Kellacher has been recognised for ICT's unbeaten run for during the month of November.

Having stepped in following the departure of Duncan Ferguson, Kellacher's named the Scottish League One Glen’s Manager of the Month.

Caley Thistle racked up seven from a possible nine points, with a 1-1 draw at home to Kelty Hearts, then back-to-back victories over the clubs occupying top spot.

Kellacher's side recording a 2-1 win at Cove Rangers and a 1-0 win over Alloa Athletic.

Back in October Inverness were hit with a 15 point penalty after the club entered administration and have managed to pull themselves off the foot of the table.

Inverness manager Scott Kellacher, said: “This is award is down to the hard work of all the players, the staff and the outstanding support of the fans.

“We now need to get our heads down, work hard and keep pushing forward. Saturday’s win against Montrose showed our togetherness as a club and it’s important we keep that going into the rest of the season.”

Saturday Arbroath head North with the Lichties having faced ICT twice this season.

Caley Thistle losing 1-0 at Gayfield in October in the league, while in the Scottish League Cup, Inverness missed out on spot-kicks after a goal-less encounter in the Highlands.
