Ross County manager Jim McIntyre will use his team's own shock win over Celtic to warn against complacency when they face Linlithgow Rose.
Ross County manager Jim McIntyre will use his team's own shock win over Celtic to warn against complacency when they face Linlithgow Rose.
County exploited Efe Ambrose's red card to come from behind at Hampden and beat Celtic in the League Cup semi-final on Sunday but the roles are reversed on Saturday when they are massive favourites in the William Hill Scottish Cup fifth round.
Linlithgow are the first Junior team to reach the last 16 of the tournament and McIntyre will not take them lightly.
McIntyre said: We went to watch them against Forfar and they have done fantastically well. It's great credit to the whole club that they have got this far in the competition and we will certainly not be under-estimating them.
They have got players who have played at a higher level, boys who have been in the professional game. Sometimes players drop out because they want to pursue work careers as well as play football part-time.
They certainly have players with good ability and have goals in their ream as well.
We just have to focus on what we do, it's so important you start these games well and give the respect that is due, because as we saw ourselves last week, anything is possible in cup competitions.''
