Investigation ongoing after bus passenger 'harassed'

Police are looking to identify three people, thought to be teenagers, after a passenger was "harassed" on a bus in the Highlands.

The incident took place on the M90 service between Aviemore and Inverness, with others on board having to intervene on Sunday afternoon.

The youngsters are described as being around 14 or 15 years old, with one wearing a fur-lined jacket.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are making enquiries to identify 3 male youths who harassed a passenger on board the M90 Edinburgh to Inverness Citylink/Megabus service bus between Aviemore and Inverness on Sunday 6 April 2025, resulting in several other passengers intervening.

"The youths, who are all described as being around 14/15 years old with one wearing a fur-lined jacket, are believed to have got on the bus in Aviemore around 2:25pm with the bus arriving in Inverness shortly after 3:30pm.

"If you have any information that could assist, please contact us on 101 and quote incident 2076 of 06/04/2025, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
