A boat at Fraserburgh harbour is at the centre of an investigation after an incident which left one man dead, and four others in hospital.

The alarm was raised on board the Sunbeam yesterday that three people had 'fallen ill.'

They were taken to hospital but one of the men later died - two others were also taken for treatment during the operation.

None of the four are believed to be in a life threatening condition.

What happened on the Sunbeam is still a mystery, but a local councillor has told us he heard the men had been working in or near a tank.

The Marine Accidents Investigation Branch is helping Police Scotland look into the incident.

It's understood the man who's died is a local fisherman - part of the crew on board the boat, and a local man.
