Inverness Toddler Recovering After Being Knocked Down

The 19 month old was struck by a car in Sinclair Park on Saturday.

A toddler who was knocked down in Inverness is said to be making 'good progress' in hospital.

The 19 month old girl - named locally as Emma Perkins - was struck by a vehicle in her parent's driveway in Sinclair Park on Saturday.

She was intially taken to Raigmore Hospital with serious injuries.

She's since been transferred to Yorkhill Children's Hospital in Glasgow, where her condition is described as stable.

It's believed her mother, Morag Guthrie, was behind the wheel at the time of the incident.

Police are continuing to appeal to the public for information.
