Man seriously injured in glass object attack at Inverness pub
Johnny Foxes has been closed all day as Police probe what bosses are calling a senseless attack
A man's seriously injured after a glass object attack outside a pub in Inverness.
Police were called to Johnny Foxes in the town just after midnight last night after reports of a major disturbance.
An ambulance was also dispatched to the scene and the 20-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance within licensed premises on Bank Street in Inverness shortly after 12.40am on Sunday, 13 April, 2025.
“A 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment to a serious injury.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
The popular venue has been closed all day as a result. Boss have posted this message on social media: "As many of you will be aware, there was a serious assault in our venue last night and we are assisting the Police with their ongoing enquiries.
"We would like to thank everyone for their messages of concern and best wishes for the welfare of the young man who was seriously injured and our team who were on hand dealing with this senseless attack.
"We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the police officers and the paramedics who attended this incident and appreciate all their assistance and support.
"We will not be opening today until 5pm and we thank you for understanding at this time. "
