Inverness man's Hamburg death a 'tragic accident'

'No suspicious circumstances' say Liam Colgan's grieving family.

The family of missing Inverness man Liam Colgan whose body was found in Hamburg’s River Elbe say his death 'has been a tragic accident.'

In a statement posted on the Help Find Liam Colgan Facebook page, the family claims 'there would appear to be no suspicious circumstances' in his death.'

The 29-year-old went missing while out on his brother's stag do in the Germany city in February.

Liam's body was recovered yesterday after he vanished on February 10th, 10-weeks-ago.

His loved ones have paid tribute to him online, describing Liam as 'talented yet humble' and an 'amazing person.'
