Eight workers were based at the Academy Street shop which went up in flames on Wednesday.
The area is expected to remain closed until next week as crews survey the damage.
The cause of the blaze remains unknown, but investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the company said: "M&Co are saddened about the fire on Wednesday night and are relieved no one was hurt.
"M&Co’s Property Director is currently onsite assessing the situation and we are urgently seeking a temporary relocation in Inverness to minimise disruption to our shoppers."
