People in Inverness joined protestors from across the UK to demonstrate against US president Donald Trump.

Around 60 people marched through the city before gathering at Falcon Square to chant and display banners.

It's after Mr Trump signed an executive order on Friday banning entry to the US for nationals of seven Muslim-majority countries - Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen - for 90 days.

There were demonstrations across the UK on Monday night, with crowds flocking to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee as people finished work.

At the Glasgow protest, Angela Baron, 39, of Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, carried a "No Muslim Ban'' placard. She said: "I totally oppose this Muslim ban that Trump is trying to implement. It's completely illegal, it's totally immoral.

"I feel strongly about the ban, It's only the second time in my life I've come out to a protest.'
