Inverness house targeted by thieves

A number of items were taken from the property in the Kingsmills area of the city.

A house on Raasay Road has been robbed, with a number of items taken including jewellery.

The property was broken into sometime between Monday 15 and Saturday 27 October.

Detective Constable Greig Fraser said: 'Our enquiries are ongoing into this theft and would urge anyone who can help to get in touch as soon as possible.

'If you have seen any anyone in the area acting suspiciously please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting crime reference number NN11239/18.

'If you wish to remain anonymous please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

'I would also remind home owners to always secure windows and doors when leaving properties unattended to avoid becoming the victim of this type of crime.'
