Iain Vigurs has signed a new two-year deal with Inverness, the Highland club have confirmed.
The 28-year-old midfielder signed for Caley Thistle for a second time last summer from Motherwell, after spending two years at Fir Park.
Inverness are yet to confirm a new manager to replace John Hughes but Vigurs is pleased to commit himself to the club, following in the footsteps of David Raven, Owain Fon Williams, Liam Polworth, Aaron Doran, Lewis Horner and Alex Fisher who have all extended their deals recently.
He told the club's official website: "The squad is taking shape and when key players are all signing on, it's always good to see that.
"I'm glad to have got my contract done and dusted. I thoroughly enjoyed getting back to playing last season and although we never got the top-six (finish) that we wanted, we finished strong. We now need to look to kick on from that next season."
Chairman Kenny Cameron said: "Iain is another of the players we had offers out to before the end of the season and it is great to see so many key squad members committing to the club for the longer term.
"It's vital we get as many of the core squad re-signed as possible so that when the new manager comes in they have a good platform to build on."
