'Human bone' found in Dufftown

A bone, believed to be from a human, has been found in a riverbed in Moray.
The discovery was made yesterday in Dufftown.
Officers were called out, but the remains are thought to be historical.
Police Scotland confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "Around 6.20pm on Thursday, 13 March, 2025, we received a report that a bone had been discovered in a riverbed in Dufftown.
“Enquires are ongoing, however the bone is believed to be part of historic remains."
