Highland polar bear showing signs she could breed later this month

It's possible that two polar bears in the Highlands could breed the UK's first baby bears in 25-years.

Two-polar bears - which are part of a breeding programme in the Highlands - have come face-to-face for the first time.

The Highland Wildlife Park have just moved Arktos next to Victoria, before the pair will share an enclosure later this month.

Staff at the site at Kincraig say that she's already showing signs that she might breed.

If that happens then it would be the first time in 25-years for the bears to be born in the UK.
