Two men aged 42 and 36 have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for drug offences following the discovery of a cannabis plant cultivation in Ross-shire.

Police attended an address in Conon Bridge and recovered a number of plants, associated materials and a three figure sum of money on Thursday 22nd January 2015.

Commenting on the seizure, Dingwall based Inspector Bruce Gray said:

"Disrupting the supply of illegal drugs in the north remains a top priority for Police Scotland. Cannabis, in addition to all other illegal drugs and new pyschoactive substances, has the potential to ruin lives and entire communities - often targetting the most vulnerable members of society.

"Police will continue to take proactive and robust action on those intent on possessing and supplying drugs in our local communities across the Highlands and Islands.
