Harry Clarke set for Hibs loan after Arsenal recall
The defender spent the first half of the season on loan at Ross County
Hibernian are set to sign Harry Clarke on loan after the defender was recalled by Arsenal.
The 20-year old spent the first half of the season with Ross County where he impressed, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
His form has caught the eye of Shaun Maloney and his staff with the Easter Road side striking a deal with Arsenal to bring him to Edinburgh.
It will come as a big blow to Malky Mackay who saw Clarke as a key player this season.
Clarke has played at both centre-back and right-back for the Staggies.
Arsenal have already recalled Clarke as his temporary transfer to Hibs looks to be finalised.
An update on the Premier League side's official website said: "Harry Clarke has been recalled from his loan with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership. Harry made 17 appearances during his loan, scoring three goals and providing two assists".
