• Keep your fork in your wrong hand at a buffet. This a funny one but we read about it in a magazine so it must be true! The slower you load your plate, the more food that gets munched by everyone else! • Blow out your candles. Researchers in California found that we eat more in dimly lit rooms! An interesting one but who are we to argue with science! • Beware of huge wine glasses! Drinking out of a smaller wine glass will reduce your intake of calorie. We also advise doing the same for huge plates- get smaller ones! • Add handful of ice to your wine glass before pouring- Not only will it make you less drunk but it’ll also cut out those calories! • Take the pastry top off your pie or any of your baked goods! Just as tasty but less calories! • Remove all that fatty skin from your roast! The meat is the best bit anyway- and it’s the healthiest bit too! • Transform your G&T with slim line tonic. You know it makes sense! • Take just one less roast potato, Yorkshire pudding or Pig in blanket than usual. A lot of little changes make a big one! It’s a lot more attainable than making one giant one! • Swap your cream or Ice cream for low fat Yogurt with your pudding? Or why not choose fruit salad over a slab of that heavy cake!?
